Bark in the Park

Join the Fox Valley Humane Association for the 36th annual Bark in the Park pledge walk and vendor show June 4th at Fox Valley Technical College! We are excited to share that the theme this year is “Stars and Stripes” as a tribute to those who have served in the military. All proceeds will benefit FVHA’s new program for veterans, the Veteran and Pet Community Coalition. The Vet Pet Coalition Program provides quality trained companion animals with veterans, promoting good health and better quality of life through companionship. FVHA believes the joy and company of a companion animal is the lifesaving therapy or best friend returning service men and women so desperately need. This year’s Bark in the Park event will include a Military Color Guard ceremony to start the 1.5 mile pledge walk, “Patriotic Pups” pet costume contest, delicious pre-walk Pancake breakfast, an amazing vendor show featuring pet-related businesses, an agility demonstration for the dogs to show off their skills, Veteran’s Museum display with military vehicles, Harley Davidson motorcycles, 50/50 and basket raffles, gazebo photo opportunity mid-walk, and much more! Fun for the whole family! This year we’ve made it easier than ever for participants to register for the walks and to raise pledges online.
